When deciding to get a tattoo at XY studio, the client is obliged to read the studio's regulations and therefore accepts its terms.
THE STUDIO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL ARRANGEMENTS MADE BY THE CUSTOMER WITH THE TATTOO ARTIST WHICH VIOLATE THE CONTENT OF THESE REGULATIONS
1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
1.1 Tattoos are performed on adults and people over 17 years of age. In such a case, the presence of a parent or legal guardian is required during the procedure, whose identity must be confirmed with appropriate documents. On site, the guardian is obliged to sign a written consent to tattooing a minor.
1.2 Pregnant or breastfeeding women cannot undergo the tattoo procedure.
1.3 During the procedure, you should be sober and not under the influence of other drugs.
1.4 The Studio ensures the sterility of the tools used for treatments. People undergoing tattooing must strictly follow the general sanitary rules in force in the treatment room and the tattoo artists' instructions.
1.5 Only clients scheduled for a session may be in the treatment room. People accompanying you during all-day treatments get bored after some time, and the crowds are not conducive to your comfort.
1.6 It is forbidden to eat food at the place of tattooing (the ban does not apply to drinks).
1.7 The treatment may be interrupted if the client's well-being deteriorates or skin changes occur that may affect the tattoo.
2. TATTOO PRICING AND BOOKING A DATE:
2.1 Tattoo prices are determined individually. The starting price is PLN 250. The price of a tattoo given by us is an approximate estimate, due to the fact that the final appearance of the design and its final size are selected together with the client during his stay in the studio. In the studio you can pay in cash, BLIK or transfer.
2.2 Before your scheduled session, we recommend a free consultation in our studio to discuss the design, size, location and other details of the tattoo.
2.3 Before the planned visit, it is necessary that the tattooed area is not tanned. If the skin in a given area is severely tanned, we reserve the right to refuse the treatment and to postpone the scheduled date. Unfortunately, such a decision would result in the loss of the deposit paid.
2.4 The session date is set upon registration.
2.5 Full confirmation of the agreed date takes place after the deposit has been paid. This deposit is non-refundable in the absence of information about the cancellation of the session two weeks before the agreed date, or about changing the date one week before the scheduled date. In other cases, we return it in the form of a voucher to be used in our studio. It is valid for one year from the date of issue. At the same time, we would like to inform you that changes in dates can be made up to twice without losing the deposit.
2.6 If you have a voucher, it may be treated as a deposit and will be treated in the same way thereafter. If the customer does not show up on the agreed date, the deposit is forfeited and its value is deducted from the initial voucher amount.
2.7 The deposit is deducted from the final price of the tattoo.
2.8 As a Studio, we have the right to change the date you have booked up to 1 business day preceding the booked date. We would also like to emphasize that we also retain the right to refuse to perform the procedure without having to provide a reason. In both cases, we will refund the full amount of your deposit.
2.9 By paying a deposit or undergoing a treatment without a deposit, the client consents to the conscious performance of the treatment and consciously accepts the above regulations.
3. SESSION:
3.1 Before starting the treatment, you will also be required to complete a questionnaire regarding your health condition. In addition, it is the responsibility of each client to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the potential post-treatment consequences and the procedure for proper tattoo care. Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive care and satisfaction, so these steps are important for your safety and the best outcome. The studio is not responsible for allergies, sensitivities or other ailments - please consult a specialist.
3.2 The tattoo design is shown on the day of the session.
3.3 Keep in mind that tattooing is an art performed on skin, which is a difficult and variable "material". The final effect is influenced by many factors, including the individual characteristics of your skin, such as age, its elasticity, type, and any diseases or allergies that may be undetected. The place where the tattoo is done also affects the result. A key aspect is also proper skin care after the procedure. It is particularly important to follow the rules provided by the tattoo artist and included in the appendix to the "Aftercare" regulations, which you undertake to follow. Please remember that improper post-treatment care may significantly affect the skin healing process and the final effect of the tattoo. That's why it's so important that you follow the aftercare instructions provided by your tattoo artist to achieve the best possible results.
3.4 During the procedure, clothing may become dirty with ink, blood or tracing paper. We try to secure everything, but there is still risk. Therefore, we advise you to dress appropriately for the session or bring clothes to change into.
3.5 In a situation where the tattoo requires the exposure of a larger area of the body, the client has the right to ask for the treatment area to be separated with a screen in order to maintain privacy and comfort. However, due to the appropriate skin tension in the area where the tattoo is to be placed, the tattoo artist may ask you to remove the appropriate part of your clothing or underwear. This is important to enable effective work and obtain the best possible result when tattooing. It is worth taking into account that the tattoo artist will take care to maintain professionalism and maintain the client's privacy whenever possible.
3.6 The patterns we produce are our own designs, prepared based on your inspirations, tips, suggestions and submitted materials. Your unique pattern is created with your participation during the first session, and until final approval, you can suggest your artist make changes to the design.
3.7 We schedule all-day sessions at 10:00, and any consultations always between 9:00 and 10:00 to be able to devote the appropriate amount of time to both the consulted and tattooed persons.
3.8 The tattoo artist has the right to take photos of the completed tattoo, not directly showing the client's face. The photos taken can be published on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
3.9 Remember to strictly follow your artist's recommendations regarding the care of a freshly made tattoo. After the session, you will receive a leaflet with advice on this issue. If you miss something, you can also find the information you need on our website in the "before and after" tab.
3.10 After the tattoo has fully healed, you may notice that some places require minor corrections, remember that you are entitled to one correction session without incurring additional costs, within 3 months from the date of the treatment. The dates and times of corrective treatments are suggested by the studio.
4. GUEST ARTISTS:
4.1 If the tattoo was performed by a guest tattoo artist, the studio is not responsible for the tattoo. If any corrections are necessary, please contact the tattoo artist who made the design directly.
4.2 If the tattoo was made or started by a tattoo artist who has already finished cooperating with our studio, please contact the artist directly in order to correct or complete the already started design. XY Studio is not responsible for any problems in contact with an artist who no longer cooperates with the studio.
5. VOUCHERS
5.1 You can purchase a tattoo voucher in our studio. It is possible to buy it in person at the studio for cash or you can contact us by e-mail, and after completing all the formalities and posting the payment (voucher amount + shipping), it will be sent by post to the address provided.
5.2 The purchased voucher is a voucher for XY studio, not for a specific artist.
5.3 The voucher purchased from us in the studio is non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If for some reason the person who received the voucher wants to resign from getting a tattoo, they can contact the studio directly and transfer the voucher to another person. All other cases will be considered individually.
